Remove Google Everything Sidebar Firefox Greasemonkey Script

There are a few people out there who do not like the new Google everything sidebar. I personally find it to be distracting. Since there is no way to turn that feature off, I made a Greasemonkey script to do it. The script is very simple. I removes the sidebar by default, but adds a button that lets you show or hide the sidebar. This script is hard coded with the element ID’s so it will only work as long as they keep that the same. I will try to keep it up to date. This only works on Firefox but I will see about making one for Chrome. Enjoy!

    AMAZING! Thank you so much. A small adjustment, is there anyway you can make the script so when you click show sidebar, it expands the “more search tools” option aswell.
    I dont know why google felt this is a better option. The old search was so much better. You just clicked the + to get the additional search options

    Is there a way to bring the image results back up to the top of the web results? Goggle also changed the placement of the image results they are no long on top of the web results they are now either towards the middle or at the bottom of the page. >:O

    It doesn’t remove the sidebar in Google? Or it doesn’t install? Do you have Greasemonkey installed in Firefox?

    this one doesn’t qwork for me, the link by anonymous works fine.
